All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that’s smooth and responsive. It has breathtaking power and acceleration that even outpaces many sports cars. It can hit zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, covers a quarter-mile in 11 seconds, and has a top speed of 204 mph, according to Dodge.Īll the V8s move this Dodge with alacrity, but the Hellcat is unlike anything rival sedans offer. The high-performance SRT Hellcat comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The R/T Scat Pack, Daytona 392, and SRT 392 trims have a 6.4-liter V8 (equivalent to a 392-cubic-inch engine, hence the trim name) that puts out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The R/T and Daytona trims feature a 370-horsepower 5.7-liter V8. Both have ample power for most driving situations, but they don’t compare to the three available V8s. The Charger SXT trims come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out 292 horsepower, while GT trims have a 300-horsepower version of the same engine. The 2015 model's suspension has been further fettled from an already fine starting point, gliding rather than merely 'riding' on its absorbent independent front and rear suspension." - Edmunds (2015) "The Charger may have aggressive styling but it rides as smoothly as some luxury sedans. Remember, it's a four-door sedan with room for five, and even if you never sampled all of its 707 horsepower you'd still enjoy driving it." - Forbes (2015)

Meet Willow and the crew at the Ruins Entrance just west of the Ice Mountain. Now that the whole crew is recruited, it’s time to start the excavation process. Once the cutscene is over, Marley is on the team. What you pick doesn’t matter, you will win anyway (I chose rock 3 times). Luckily for us, he is too drunk so we can trick him. He will then challenge you to a contest of Rock Papers Scissors So buy one Asgarnian Ale from Kaylee or Emily. He will only talk to you if you buy him a beer. Recruiting Burntofį2P: Use the Falador Teleport spell (37 Magic) Now return to Marley to give him the sandwich. Use a knife on a piece of bread with a cooked meat in your inventory to create a steak sandwich. However, he does tell you how to make the sandwich. He doesn’t want to make the sandwich for you because he considers Marley a low-class criminal. You’ll find the cook inside the kitchen in the back. So teleport to Varrock (or run) and get to the pub. The meal he requires (a steak sandwich) is made by the cook inside the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. Marley is clearly a thief, afraid of getting caught from his recent robbery in Varrock. You’ll find Marley at the Edgeville Yew trees. Run North from Barbarian Village towards Edgeville (or use a glory teleport if you are really lazy). P2P: Use a Glory to teleport to Edgeville or Combat Bracelet to Monastery Once you flexed your great muscles, Checkal will agree to meet you at the Ancient entrance. Now go back to Checkal and use the Flex Emote in front of him. Once the cutscene is complete, you will unlock the Flex Emote. A rocky-training-style cut scene will start in which you run all around Varrock and Barbarian Village and do a ton of push ups. He is inside the dining hall.Ītlas will take you through a free training. To do so, you have to take a training with Atlas. He will help you, if you can prove your strength to him. Checkal: strongman who can lift things (according to her, stronger than my character with a strength cape).Burntof: an old dwarf skilled at demolition. She can’t do it herself, because she needs to protect the entrance, after all, someone might steal the glory right from under her. Since they didn’t part on good terms, you have to help her make amends. But first, you will have to help her re-unite with her old crew. Willow is an archeologist (or thief, depending on how you look at it) who discovered the entrance to some ancient ruins. She is located just below the dwarven mine. The quest is started by speaking with Willow. P2P: Use a Falador Teleport Tab or Combat Bracelet to the Monastery or a glory teleport to Edgeville. He never takes advantage of Mahoro, and always brushes off Shikijo-sensei's advances, and treats his female classmates with respect, much to all of their chagrin at times. The ending in the anime version is much darker than in the manga. In fact, its signature Catchphrase - "Dirty thoughts are bad!" - shows up in many variations on the net and in other anime. As a comedy, it offers several laugh-out-loud moments. There are even the makings of a small harem with the male lead's schoolmates (though the feel is more of a close group of friends or True Companions rather than a true harem).Īt its core, Mahoromatic is a comedy with strong dramatic (even tragic) elements. In the second season, Mahoromatic: Something More Beautiful, Mahoro is joined by her "little sister" who is a completely Terran Robot Girl Maid (and, initially, a failure). Mahoro chooses to spend her days serving Suguru Misato, as a maid. As a reward, she is given the freedom to live the rest of her operational life (just over a year) however she chooses. The Earth has just thwarted one of those pesky alien invasions, thanks to the actions of the superpowered combat android Mahoro. In 2001, it was adapted into an anime series produced by Studio Gainax and Studio Shaft, and directed by Gainax co-founder Hiroyuki Yamaga. Mahoromatic is a Seinen manga originally written by Bunjūrō Nakayama and illustrated by Bow Ditama, which ran from 1998 to 2004 in Comic Gum. You can safely drag one out of the water area in the North East Cave with the use of a Grappling Hook. That way, you'll know where it is and it will be protected from (most) other creatures during the taming process. After Taming it can be carried out of the cave, just keep in mind that you cannot hold a weapon while doing so.Īlternatively, you can lure it outside of the cave and pick it up with an Argentavis or Quetzal and relocate it to a taming pen near or at your base for easy taming. Time lost by aggravating the beetle varies up to 3 to 5 minutes, which is added to the feeding interval time. When not aggravated, the beetle will remain stationary making it easy to tame. Positioning your Sabertooth at a choke point to prevent other players from interfering with your tame is advised on PvP. While it is possible to tame anywhere, these beetles appear most frequently near water sources (past the first cluster of snakes in Central cave for example) it is advised to draw them closer to the cave entrance for safety. The only difference is the weight they can carry, which translates to the amount of Feces you can load on it. By means not fully understood, their digestive tracts can convert animal waste into both an oil-like substance and a type of fertilizer. What dung they don't eat is buried in the soil, fertilizing it and ensuring the regrowth of plants. It will only attack players if the player attacks it first. The Scarabidae gigas is a passive creature. The Scarabidae can power all aspects of island life! Fertilizer means crops, which is human fuel. Oil becomes gas, which is generator fuel. These wondrous little organic biofactories are truly a sustainable, green, eco-friendly source of resources for living off the land. Why else would a creature evolve to be such a perfect pet? Most tribes jealously protect their Scarabidae, whom are handily tamed with the skilled use of some well-handled feces. Scarabidae makes me think humans have been on the island for a long time. If that wasn't reason enough to worship the Scarabidae, the refined waste product is almost identical to fertilizer from a compost bin. Somehow, Scarabidae converts feces into oil. The oily byproduct is chemically the same as the oil found in the oceans around the island. It metabolizes this waste into a more refined waste product, along with an oily byproduct. What I can say is that this creature is a perfect symbiont for advanced human tribes.Ĭoprophagic, it eats mostly useless waste (feces). What magic created the Scarabidae gigas, I cannot say. This time tracking method is the easiest. Two reasons speak to the advantage of the honor system: Your project manager creates a rough estimate of the amount you should be paid based on the hours you've worked and your hourly rates. You report the time you think you've spent on a project to your project manager. The honor system of time tracking relies on an employee's rule-of-thumb estimate. Losing or damaging the paper can leave you without a time report.Filling out paper timesheets can be time-consuming and ineffective.Using the paper method means you have to distribute and collect the timesheets physically.Relying on human memory can lead to errors. The paper method also comes with a few disadvantages: It doesn’t require the use of modern technology. It’s an inexpensive time tracking method. It’s simple and easy to use - anywhere and anytime. Some of the advantages of the paper method include the following: You use the phone or stopwatch to measure the time it takes you to finish an activity and then simply write down your time results on the paper. When you start injecting your brand’s personality into your microcopy, it’s important that you don’t overdo it. I’ll start by saying that you need to be careful. How to add personality to your UX writing Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t even explain why their account has been frozen. Instead, Mobike’s error message has a stern, cold, detached feel to it that is guaranteed to alienate the user. You can almost imagine The Terminator himself saying this one.Ĭonsidering this is delivering bad news to the user, you’d think there’d at least be a hint of empathy in there. It’s like no thought went into the UX writing for that button. That microcopy instantly clashes with the copy that precedes it. The CTA is the key element here, this is what the page has been building up to.įor some reason, the folks at Headspace opted for “Buy Moment Coach”. Top marks!īut… then we have the button at the bottom. In fact, the copy in the body of this page is a perfect example of how to convey your personality through words. The copy is informal and friendly, even using emoji to convey the feeling that this app is your friend. This section of the app is essentially a sales pitch, enticing people to purchase a “Moment Coach” subscription. Let’s take a look at some examples of UX writing that was clearly written by a robot… Examples of UX writing with no personalityįirst up, have a look at this example from Headspace: If you have no personality, but your competitor does, then prepare to see a lot of your users switch away from you. Who doesn’t want a high five off this guy? The reason they’re so successful is because they have a fun, playful personality that shines through in their product. Mailchimp doesn’t have much more functionality than any other email marketing software. If there are a dozen other products providing the same functionality as you, then you need another way of setting yourself apart. In a lot of cases, features that your product offers can be replicated elsewhere. If your marketing and product have different personalities, then you’re effectively “catfishing” your users.Ĭhances are they won’t stay around for long. In other words, it would be like having a dating profile full of jokes and innuendo, and then sitting there in an awkward silence on the first date. If it doesn’t, then it’ll leave them a little confused, and wondering what they possibly could’ve done to offend you. If your marketing is warm and fuzzy, then people will expect your product to feel the same. There are two major issues that stem from having a lack of personality in your UX writing…įirstly, it creates a massive disconnect between what people experience as a prospect, and what they experience as a user. (If you don’t have a tone of voice, by the way, then you really should!) I’m guessing that you have an established tone of voice when you’re writing sales copy, blog posts, and even the replies that your Support team send out. You might be forgiven for wondering what the big deal is? So our product doesn’t have a personality? So what?!īut I’m guessing you don’t take the same approach with your marketing or branding. Chances are, a dev or UI designer was responsible. Generally speaking, the main reason for this is that the UX writing wasn’t actually written by a writer. One of the most common UX writing mistakes I see time and time again is that the microcopy in SaaS products is completely devoid of life. It seems that’s already happened, at least when it comes to UX writing! There’s a lot of talk at the moment about robots stealing our jobs. Let’s get started… UX writing mistake #1: Sounding like a robot I’m going share these with you, and then I’m also going to show you how to avoid making those same UX writing mistakes in your own product. I’ve analyzed a lot of in-app copy and drawn up this list of the most common UX writing mistakes. We’re going to see what happens when it all goes wrong. Good UX writing can drastically improve user adoption, feature activation, and increase retention.īut today we’re going to look at the other side of microcopy. That’s because it blends so effortlessly with the product. We’re going to look at some of the biggest UX writing mistakes you can make. The copy that you use in your product (often referred to as “microcopy”) can have a dramatic effect on your users. Recently, more and more SaaS companies have started to see the value in great UX writing. You state that if we must return your manuscript (or as we like to call it these days ‘ms’), we can send it back to you, but since you neglected to include the necessary three shillings and sixpence in postage stamps, I’m afraid that’s not possible. 9: IF YOU WANT THINGS RETURNED, INCLUDE POSTAGE In fact, it makes you look unprofessional, which is never a good thing in the literary world. I sincerely doubt that your (or any other unknown author’s) book would generate a million pounds for our agency overnight. A less ethical agency might have taken you up on your offer. It’s also a mistake to tender the rights to your work without pre-conditions. I believe you should consider splitting it into two, or even three, novels. Besides, at a thousand pages, your manuscript is already too long. We like your writing style, it became obvious that your book is still a WiP (a modern acronym which stands for ‘Work in Progress). When I read your offer to write extra chapters and/or rearrange the plot if 6: FINISH YOUR BOOK BEFORE YOU SEND IT OUT This unnamed man has a son (also unnamed) who works at a newspaper, but (like you) harbors an ambition to write paperbacks. Had you then telephoned our main office, a member of our secretarial staff would have gladly furnished you with the name of the person to whom you should address your letter of enquiry (in this case, myself).Ī little extra effort would have gone a long way, believe me. In this modern technological age, a quick call to Directory Enquiries would have gotten you this agency’s telephone number. To use the modern vernacular, I’m afraid you ‘Shot yourself in the foot’, not once, but twice, within your very first sentence. You start your letter of enquiry with ‘Dear, sir or madam, will you read my book?’ With that in mind – and please understand this is in no way a request for you to re-submit your work – I’d like to offer some observations about your letter of enquiry, along with some helpful advice which, if heeded, I believe will greatly increase your chances of getting past that all-important first stage of the representation process when you submit your work elsewhere. I share the frustration we authors feel when our work is rejected with little or no explanation as to why it’s deemed unworthy.
